Media Professional

Kip Azzoni Doyle is a talented screenwriter, freelance journalist, and humanitarian adventurer based in Chicago, Illinois.

She has more than 15 years of experience in the media industry, and she has shared her creations with people all around the world.

Education

Kip earned a Master’s Degree with highest accolades in screenwriting from the Tisch / Gallatin Division at NYU.  She is a graduate of Pomona College and New York University (NYU).

Professional Endeavors

As an executive producer, Kip wrote and produced a public service announcement called “The Other Note.” She also created a subsequent short film with Martin Sheen called “Until We Get Home,” which focused on the high suicide rate of our returning veterans.

“The Other Note” swept the competition and took first place at various award ceremonies, including the American Advertising Awards (ADDYs), the Telly Awards, and the CINE Golden Eagle Awards. The project has also aired across multiple media platforms, such as network TV, NFL games, Facebook, and movie theaters. Aside from these, it is expanding into additional cable distribution channels.

Radio Check

Kip has joined forces with LadderTruck-33 out of LA in coordination with the Illinois Film Office, the Chicago Film Office, Cinespace Studios, and 2112 Studio to write and produce a TV series called “Radio Check.” This show is based on the redemptive stories of our returning veterans as they work to reintegrate back into civilian life. The entire project will be funded as a nonprofit, with proceeds being distributed to veteran service organizations across Chicago.

Other Projects

As a content creator, Kip's slate of feature film and TV properties in various genres, includes action, drama, and historical fiction.

Sequester

Kip has traveled deep in Venezuela, embedded with the counter sequester unit, to tackle the epidemic of kidnappings that has paralyzed the nation. She called this project “Sequester.”

The Decks

She is currently in talks over another feature film project that focuses on the DJ club scene in New York City. The property involves a musical soundtrack release as well as a dramatic film release called “The Decks.” This movie is a love story set in New York City about a young woman named Sage who personifies how worlds collide and how dreams can thrive.

Pirate Queen

Kip took a dual-angle approach to a story she wrote called “Pirate Queen.” It is based on the true story of Grace O’Malley, who lived and died in the time of Queen Elizabeth. The graphic novel for the project is currently being written by adaptive writer Jean Morris and illustrated by Tomask Jedruszek (www.morano.pl). They are based in Ireland and England.

A TV series is also in the works, adopting the gritty and epic style of high seas adventures such as Game of Thrones and the film 300. The show is currently under consideration by an Irish production company. Additionally, a gaming platform is being made as an ancillary source of production materials.

Follow-Up Projects

Kip has completed two other stories featuring strong female characters in history. One of her works is about Alvilda, a Viking pirate princess who lived in the 900s. Her other project is called “Tempeste,” a story about a female version of the Knights Templar set at the end of the Templar’s reign. The goal for these stories is to release them similar to the Pirate Queen project.

Diary of a Seducer

Kip worked deep in the Amazon jungle with the indigenous Yanomami tribe. She lived down in the Amazon basin on Lo Brazos River in an effort to complete a script that tackles the illegal gold mining on indigenous lands. Kip called this project “Diary of a Seducer,” a story based on Kierkegaard’s work that focuses on the story of the “garimpeiros” and the Yanomami.

Hot Laps

One of Kip’s other TV properties is “Hot Laps,” a sexy alternative programming show about fearless female athletes who race at high speeds on skis, snowboards, and more. They utilize their competitive differences to test their car racing skills in six different venues, including a sandy environment, a hill climb, a rally, a racetrack, and an event in the rain.

Kip developed this project based on her years of racing out on the track with the guys.

Extreme Compassion

This TV property focuses on children who have to combine their passion with compassion in high-antics activities that take them out of their comfort zones. The events throw them out into the field, where they have to give back to others in some wild ways.

Literary Works

Aside from her projects in the film and TV industry, Kip has also written a book for Simon & Schuster titled “Selling Dreams, How to Entice Your Customers’ Emotions” under her then nom de plume, Kip Longinotti-Buitoni. She wrote the book with her then husband, Gian Luigi Longinotti-Buitoni.

The book is based on a PhD in French, which Kip and Gian Luigi adapted into an entertaining literary work for people who don’t want to read typical business books.
